Figurative Clothes Hanger

A unique artisan handcrafted clothes hanger with a strong symbolic figurative reference to the Flamingo bird. The figure and the artistic connotation of it’s shape offers a new experience of a hanger and highlights any garments on it and generally it’s everyday use. The metal figure of the Flamingo is made of iron and has a matte black color, while the wings are made of natural solid oak wood in natural color with soft wax coating to more velvety texture. Most of all, this object suggests a unique design luxury gift with strong environmental sensitivity and symbolism.

Nature facts

Nature facts

Flamingos are very social birds and live in colonies whose population can number in the thousands. These large colonies serve three purposes for the flamingos: avoiding predators, maximizing food intake and using scarce suitable nesting sites more efficiently. Flamingos form strong pair bonds although in larger colonies sometimes change mates, presumably because there are more mates to choose from. They establish and defend nesting territories usually chosen by the female.
